FAQ
How does Grade B soda ash differ from Grade A?
Grade B (Light) and Grade A (Dense) have the same chemical formula, Na₂CO₃, but differ in their physical properties and typical applications. Selection between the grades is determined by the requirements of the specific production process.
Can Grade B be used instead of Grade A?
Substitution is possible in some processes but not in others. The decision depends on the technology, equipment, method of use and finished-product requirements.
Which processes most commonly use Grade B soda ash?
Grade B is widely used in detergent production, water treatment, drilling fluids, chemical manufacturing and other processes in which the product is applied through solutions or process media.
Why is the same Na₂CO₃ sold as Light and Dense?
Although the chemical formula is the same, the grades differ in their physical properties and are intended for different production processes. Selection is therefore based on the requirements of the specific application rather than on the formula alone.
When should Grade B be used and when is Grade A more appropriate?
The production process determines the choice. Product selection should reflect how the soda ash is used, the equipment configuration and the requirements of the process.
What information should be provided for product selection?
To prepare an offer, please specify the application, production process, documentation requirements and estimated consumption.
